The first day of the 2001 season will be remembered by other crazy hunters blasting away at everything that moved, barking dogs, and road hunters disturbing my hunting time. 2nd day of the season i come back afresh, and while being watched by another hunter(ha ha), shoot an 8 point beast chasing a doe. I should have waited for the deer to climb the steep hill before i shot. I was forced to become the human 4 wheeler and drag the beast up uphill for a very long long long time.
4 point, shot last week of the 1999 season. Came out of popples following scent of a doe that had come by earlier. Hehe, look at my dorky elmer fudd hat.
My first deer, shot the first day of the 1997 season. 8 points. Came out of woods behind a doe. Shot with Ruger .308 Ultralight with Leupold scope.
The awsome dog with the pheasant to the left is Nitro. The dork in the chicken hat and the nice whitefish is me.
